Eggs on the Keto Diet is undoubtedly one of my favourites. I first learned about the diet when I watched the Atkins Diet kick off a few years back. At the time, I was very sceptical that this diet would work as it claimed to. However, after about a week or so, I noticed a noticeable increase in my energy. After a few more weeks, I began to see that my body was getting bigger and bulkier. It has been a great experience so far! In just humble opinion, eggs on the Keto Diet are one of the absolute best foods for this diet! Not only do they one of the tastiest foods around, they also have excellent Keto proteins at only 6 grams of protein, less than 1 gram of carbs (less than 1%) and less than 2 grams of fat. There are other tremendous benefits to eating eggs as well. Make sure you eat at least 6 eggs per day.
First off, let’s cover breakfast. For breakfast on the Keto Diet, I always go with a nice bowl of eggs over a small bowl of toast with some fresh fruit. Then I’ll add a slice of low-fat ham or turkey to the mix for an excellent lunchtime breakfast. For dinner, I usually eat a piece of grilled chicken with some steamed broccoli or spinach, along with some low-fat cottage cheese for an easy dinner and an excellent way to get your daily serving of vegetables.
Now, let’s take a look at what we can get from eating eggs on the ketosis diet. First of all, when you eat any form of carbohydrate, whether, in fruit, carbs, rice, bread, etc., the body has to break down the carbohydrates into glucose. When glucose comes into contact with our blood sugar, ketones are created, and ketosis occurs. Ketones are basically fats that the body can burn instead of glucose. Without the excess carbs, your blood sugar level stays more normal, allowing for a more steady, consistent flow of energy. If you have enough carbs in your diet, you will notice that ketones aren’t as noticeable.
Next, let’s talk about why the egg contains so many nutrients. The egg contains the following vitamins: B, A, D, E and K. Also, it includes a host of essential amino acids that work as building blocks for muscle, bone, heart, etc. It is a very filling meal, which makes it perfect for a Keto diet. However, I always make sure to have plenty of water before I even begin my morning meal.
Another great way to pack in some quick weight loss is to have an excellent healthy breakfast of vegetables. Yes, I’m talking about a nice long walk in the park. By walking in the park, you get some much-needed exercise that releases endorphins that make you feel good. Suppose you’re not already exercising every day. In that case, you should start today by walking short distances around your neighbourhood or in your front yard for about half an hour.
In addition to adding some healthy foods to your diet, you should also get out and start burning off some of those excess calories you are consuming through drinking soda, juices, and even coffee. This can be done by switching to either an organic mug of coffee or an entire organic bottle of water. Instead of drinking sugary drinks, switch to either fruit juices or nutritious foods such as leafy greens, carrots, beets, cabbage, etc. All contain natural sugars and low calories to keep your blood sugar levels stable throughout the day.
There you have it, folks! The three most essential parts of a ketosis diet are eating the right foods, drinking lots of fluids, and walking daily. These three aspects alone will cause you to reach your ketosis goals much faster than if you were to starve yourself. So what are you waiting for? Go grab a bag of eggs, some veggies, and a cup of water and get started on your new diet for fast weight loss!
